Our Head Instructor: Travis Fulton
Travis Fulton is the Director of Education for all TOUR Academy facilities and is the Head Instructor for the PGA TOUR Golf Academy at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL. Before joining our staff, his professional career has included teaching positions in Arizona, New York and Massachusetts. Fulton has been with the PGA TOUR Academy since it first opened and has played a key role in the design and execution of the instruction formats and staff training. He is currently a contributing writer for PGATOUR.com, Golf Illustrated and PGA TOUR Partners Magazine. Travis is also a weekly featured guest on the PGA TOUR Network on XM radio.
Fulton has taught alongside numerous GOLF Magazine TOP 100 instructors including Scott Sackett, Todd Sones, Craig Shankland, Martin Hall and Chuck Evans. As Director of Education for all TOUR Academies, Fulton oversees the instruction philosophy, the implementation of all training programs and research and development efforts that allow the academy to create more effective instructional programs.
Born and raised in Kellogg ,Idaho, Travis competed at Lewis & Clark State College. In 1998, Fulton won the Pacific Northwest Athletic Conference and was a national competitor in the NAIA National Championships.
